We need more light

Sometimes I wish I would have a talented voice and could sing and express some of my thoughts and feelings in this way too. I really admire and respect talented musicians and their craft. It is such a beautiful and meaningful gift when you can express and share your thoughts/feelings/experiences through this kind of talent and inspire/touch/move other human beings. But the reality is my singing voice is really not one of my talents. So I figured I will just start writing down some lyrics that swirl in my head and who knows if people like them or not. I just feel some of them are worth sharing on here and maybe at some point I will collaborate and turn them into music.

This one I wrote down a few weeks ago (after meditation) when i thought of the world we live in. I feel this one has a strong and  meaningful message behind to share with you all. 

Our Light

A treasure that shines bright

It`s called our light

It will stop this fight

 

We all have it inside

Yet so often denied

An element so powerful

We need to be fateful

No need to be more hurtful

 

A treasure that shines bright

This meaningful light

If we connect all this light

Our world will shine bright

So please stop that fight

And turn this darkness into light

Light so bright

It will all be alright

Flames moved by air

So we might finally care

Walking around with closed eyes

Can`t you see all those lies?

It`s time to start looking for this light

Look up far

Can you see this star

The sky so bright

Still Burns every night

In a world full of war

This light seems so far

Can we please stop this fight

We need more of this light

 

The darkness is trying to dime it

But We can over shine it

We will take its power away

And turn the dark into light one day

Will then all be ok?
